Wisconsin: Timms Hill
1,952 ft (595 m)
Wisconsin’s highest point doesn’t tower above the land—but climb the steel observation tower at the summit and you’ll rise well above the trees. Timms Hill stands at 1,951 feet in the lake-laced woods of the north, offering calm views and a quiet corner of elevation in a state better known for farmland and forest.
A short trail leads from the parking area to the summit, where the tower offers 360-degree views above the hardwood canopy. On a clear day, the horizon stretches in every direction, rippling with glacial hills and dotted with blue lakes.
It’s a short walk, a peaceful moment, and a satisfying checkmark for highpointers seeking height in unexpected places.
